From Taupo we go west to Taranaki best known to the outside world where Tom Cruise was involved in the shooting of The Last Samurai.

Taranaki is blessed with some very fine golf courses and per capita must be close to being the province best supplied with golf courses.
For instance Inglewood with Mount Taranaki in the background.

Westown which I'm told is very good
